The Future Fund is an initiative of Inspiring Stories. The registered trust is governed by a Board of Trustees who meet regularly and as required to provide good governance, advise on strategic issues, and achieve better outcomes for the Trust. They all volunteer their time.

Martin Enright // Chair | LinkedIn Profile
 
Martin has over 25 years experience in media, strategy, business development and partnership formation and has worked in NZ, Australia, Asia, the Pacific and USA. He was formerly head of business development for Warner Bros. Asia-Pacific International TV and a director of SKY TV, leading content acquisition, anti-piracy strategy and subscription new media services. Martin is passionate about better outcomes for young New Zealanders, and is proud to be the Chair of Inspiring Stories.


Vanisa Dhiru // Trusteee | LinkedIn Profile
 
With a background in various business, government and community roles Vanisa brings a wealth of experience to the Trust. Her day-to-day role as CEO of the 2020 Trust, ensures all New Zealanders can fully participate in the digital world. Vanisa is particularly passionate about good governance and leadership.

Adrian Wimmers // Trustee | LinkedIn Profile
 
Adrian (Ado) is passionate about increasing engagement amongst kiwis interested in creating a prosperous future for New Zealand. He is a Corporate Finance Partner at KPMG, former public servant, Leadership New Zealand Fellow (2009) and has served on several not-for-profit (NFP) and Advisory boards. Adrian is particularly interested in the opportunities that exist at the interfaces between the public, private, and NFP sectors. He is also a proud husband to Sonya and father to two young children – Oskar and Rosa.

Jacque is a Partner at Lowndes specialising in commercial litigation. Supporting young people to be inspired and supported to achieve their dreams is paramount to New Zealand’s future prosperity. Having had her son at a young age whilst progressing a full time career, Jacque can relate to the reality of life’s challenges. Her son, now 12, now faces very real issues as an adolescent that simply did not exist when she was his age. Jacque is excited about contributing to the work of Inspiring Stories.

Patrick has over 20 years experience in property and has been active in the New Zealand Property Institute, holding various positions, including Branch Chairman, Councillor, and being a member on the Valuation and Property Standards Board. A proud West Coaster at heart, he completed the Leadership NZ Programme in 2011 and joined the Board of Inspiring Stories with a strong desire to help support the aspirations of young New Zealanders.

An accomplished professional with more than ten years’ experience in the tertiary education sector, Agnes is strongly motivated and committed to creating a society that maximises the potential of all people. She has established a strong network within the education sector, not for profit and the private sector. She utilises her networks to create new dialogue resulting in new ways of thinking and acting. Walking comfortably in multiple worlds provides her with the opportunity to act as a connector.

Steve has always been fascinated by how storytelling can affect culture. A veteran of over 15 years in the Hollywood studio system, he moved to New Zealand in 2010. He works as a screenwriter, producer, and lecturer in the New Zealand filmmaking community, as well as volunteering his time for several charities and trusts.
 

 

Blake Wong-Ling // Trustee | LinkedIn Profile
 
Blake is a passionate individual proud of his Pasifika heritage and of growing up in South Auckland. His current role as an Engagement Advisor at Careers New Zealand aligns his focus in improving the transitions between Education and Industry & Business. He is also the current Co-Chairperson of a successful Pasifika Tertiary Leadership program called PILOT (Pacific Island Leaders of Tomorrow) and has in-depth experience and networks in engaging with Pasifika students and their families.
